Your camera feed never leaves your computer

PosturePal processes video locally, in memory, to estimate your posture. Frames are never recorded to disk, never uploaded, and never sent to us or anyone else. This isn't a setting, it's the only way the app is built.

What is stored, and where

Your posture history (timestamps and a good/bad reading, not images) is stored in a small database on your own computer, in your OS's standard per-user data folder. It's never transmitted anywhere. You can clear it entirely at any time from inside the app.

What we, the company, actually see

For individual licenses: your email and payment details, handled by our payment processor, so we can send you your license. For team accounts: the email addresses you invite, so the magic-link sign-in can work. We do not see your posture data, your camera feed, or anything the app measures about you.

Emails we send

Purchase receipts, license delivery, and (for team accounts) sign-in links. No marketing emails unless you separately opt in, and no selling or sharing your email with anyone else.

Your rights

You can request a copy of anything we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or ask us questions about this policy any time at the contact below. Because your posture data lives only on your own machine, deleting your account on our end doesn't touch it, that's your own local file to manage.
