For anyone who sits at a desk all day

Sit up straight.
Quietly.

PosturePal watches your posture through your webcam and gives you a gentle nudge the moment you slouch. No lectures, no gamified nagging, no video ever leaving your computer.

The part nobody puts on the calendar

Your posture is already costing you something.

Not hypothetically. This is what sitting badly at a screen for years actually adds up to, for your body, and for the businesses paying for it.

How it works

Three steps. Then you forget it's running.

That's on purpose. A posture tool that demands attention is just another thing slouching your shoulders while you use it.

Calibrate once

Sit the way you want counted as good posture, hold still for three seconds. PosturePal learns what "straight" looks like for your camera, your desk, your body, not a generic average.

It watches quietly

PosturePal lives in your tray, not your face. No window, no camera preview unless you open one yourself. It's just there, in the background, the way a good habit should be.

You get a nudge, not a lecture

Slouch for a little while and you'll get one quiet notification. No sound effects, no streaks to keep up, no red exclamation marks. Just a tap on the shoulder.

What's actually in the box

Everything you'd want. Nothing you'd have to configure.

Live posture analysis

A real-time score with a one-line coaching tip when something's genuinely off (sitting too close, leaning, uneven shoulders) instead of a wall of numbers to interpret yourself.

Everything stays local

Your camera feed is processed on your own machine and never saved, never uploaded, never seen by anyone, including us. That's not a policy, it's how the app is built.

A year of real history

Daily, weekly, and month-by-month trends so you can actually see whether things are improving, not just get a number and forget it five minutes later.

Built for teams

Buy seats for your team, invite people by email, manage who's active from one simple portal. No IT setup required on their end.

One payment, yours for good

No subscription, no "premium tier" you get nagged about later. Pay once, and PosturePal is yours.

The feature perfect posture can't replace

Sitting still for 11.6 hours a day, even sitting up straight, still isn't good for you.

Posture and movement are two different problems. PosturePal fixes how you sit. Break reminders fix how long you sit without moving at all, completely independent of whether your posture score is perfect.

  • Set your own interval, anywhere from 10 to 60 minutes
  • Runs entirely separately from posture tracking, on by default, off if you want
  • One quiet nudge to stand up, not a lecture about your health

Questions

Before you ask in an email

Does my camera footage ever leave my computer?

No. Every frame is processed locally, in memory, and discarded immediately. Nothing is recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere, not to us, not to a server, not to "the cloud." This isn't a setting you have to enable, it's the only way the app works.

What platforms does PosturePal support?

Windows, Mac, and Linux, all fully supported from day one.

Is this really a one-time payment?

Yes. You pay once and the app is yours, including the version of it that exists today. Meaningful future updates to the core app are included at no extra cost. We're not going to nickel-and-dime you for bug fixes.

How is this different from a posture app on my phone?

A phone has to be propped up somewhere and usually isn't. PosturePal uses the webcam you already have open all day at your desk, so it's actually watching while you work, not sitting in a drawer.

Can I use it with more than one computer?

An individual license is active on one computer at a time. Switching machines is simple: open PosturePal on the old one and click "Deactivate this device" in the More tab, then activate the same key on the new one, no waiting, no new purchase. If the old computer isn't available to deactivate from (lost, broken, already gone), a seat can only move to a new device once every 7 days, so email us and we'll sort it out directly. If you're regularly moving between more than one machine yourself, take a look at the team plans on the pricing page, it's often the simpler option even for a single person with a desktop and a laptop.

What happens to my data if I stop using it?

Nothing happens to it without you doing it. It just sits on your own machine like any other local file. You can also clear your posture history yourself at any time from inside the app.

Your posture isn't going to fix itself.

Three seconds to calibrate. A lifetime of quiet reminders after that.
